Identity Theft
Unfortunately, identity theft is a common problem. It does not take much for a thief to access your personal information and start taking
out credit in your name. Often times it is not discovered until you attempt to gain new credit or while innocently reviewing your credit reports for other reasons.
Once you discover the theft, it can be challenging to correct it. You need to contact your creditors and the creditors where the thief secured credit from. You may need to change your bank account information and get new debit cards. You have to rearrange for auto debits. You also have to file a police report and start a dispute process with each and every false creditor and the credit reporting agencies. It can be a hassle.
Many people can do this on their own. Some people just need a little guidance. Some people need someone else to do it for them. Whatever your need, contact us to learn how we can help.
